Steam distilled from the strongly fragrant flowers of Cananga odorata trees in the Comoros Islands, this Grade I essential oil is the first and finest fraction of the distillation process, capturing the most complex and exquisite quality of the bloom. The paradox of ylang ylang is that Western science identifies it as a mental stimulant whilst aromatherapy practitioners have always used it as one of the most reliable relaxants available.
