Botanical Facial Steam Blend - Lavender, Rose, Chamomile & Calendula 250g

A 250g blend of dried botanical petals for facial steaming - one of the oldest forms of skin care, and one of the simplest. Add a handful to a bowl of boiling water, lean over with a towel over your head, and let ten minutes of warm steam do the work.

Lavender, long associated with calm and quiet restoration, carries its gentle qualities into the steam; rose petals bring their traditional reputation for softness and balance; chamomile - long reached for to ease redness and settle the skin - adds a quality of still tranquillity to the ritual; and calendula, the golden-petalled herb of folk healing, lends warmth and a slow, genuine radiance. Together they make something that functions as meditation without requiring you to call it that.

To use: add a handful of the blend to a bowl of boiling water. Lean over the bowl and place a towel over your head to contain the steam. Wait up to ten minutes, then wipe the face clean with a cotton cloth.
