Selenite Cylinder Candle Holder - 10 cm

A solid selenite cylinder, hand-finished to hold a single candle, its translucent walls allowing the flame to cast a soft, shifting glow through the stone itself.

Selenite is one of the few crystals that is said to cleanse and charge those placed near it without ever needing cleansing itself - making this holder as much an active piece on your altar as a practical one. Long associated with clarity, peace and honest self-reflection, selenite is traditionally turned to when a space needs stillness or when the mind needs quieting. The rough natural edges of the cylinder are characteristic of the stone, where each holder carries its own markings of white and translucent grey; the top is polished smooth to seat your candle, and the base is cut flat to stand steady.

Cleanse with smoke or moonlight only - selenite is water-soluble and should never be immersed or left in damp conditions. As a natural material, colour and patterning will vary between pieces.
