Selenite Cylinder Candle Holder - 8 cm

A solid selenite cylinder, 8 cm across and 8 cm tall, cut to hold a candle at its polished top while the translucent walls allow the flame to glow faintly through the stone - part functional holder, part living light source.

Selenite carries a long tradition of cleansing and clarity. In folk practice it is said to clear stagnant energy from a space and from the objects placed near it, making it a natural choice for the altar or any corner of the home where still, clean atmosphere matters. Because selenite is self-cleansing by nature, the holder needs no ritual purification itself - a wipe with a dry cloth is all it asks. The rough, uneven edges are the stone's own character; the underside is cut flat so it sits steady on any surface. Colouring shifts between translucent grey and milky white across the crystal's natural banding, so each piece is its own.
